Thoughts

One thing I wondered is how they are making things actually happen when all they do is raise awareness. Another thought I had was how they affect the major countries that don't care about violating rights like North Korea or China. One opinion that I have about this organization is that it is a little misleading because they are just raising awareness and not acting or doing anything to stop the violations from happening. Another thing I was surprised by is how they are active in 150 countries. I thought it was an important organization because it won the Nobel Peace Prize and that is a very prestigious award.

Why I Chose This Organization

I chose this organization because it was interesting to me. Another reason I chose it is because it is a popular organization and would have lots of information about it. Also, it is obviously a good organization because they are in 150 countries. I also thought it was interesting that they won a Nobel Prize. I also liked this organization because it doesn't show a clear political opinion. Also, I agree with their statements about human rights violations and which ones are being violated. Lastly, I picked it because it is a peaceful organization who doesn't violently protest or anything like that.
Amnesty International is a good organization for anyone who is looking to support a human rights organization because it is well known, reliable, trustworthy and raises awareness. In addition it is the world's largest human right organization.
