When Were We Established?
Amnesty International was founded in July of 1961.
How Do We Operate?
Amnesty International researches and raises awareness about human rights violations all around the world.  They do events and publish articles that tell people the violations that are happening in different countries.
Why Is Our Organization Important?
Amnesty International's work is important because they raise awareness for human rights violations that shouldn't be happening and isn't legal.

Another thought I had was how they affect the major countries that don't care about violating rights like North Korea or China. One opinion that I have about this organization is that it is a little misleading because they are just raising awareness and not acting or doing anything to stop the violations from happening. Another thing I was surprised by is how they are active in 150 countries. Also, I agree with their statements about human rights violations and which ones are being violated.  Lastly, I picked it because it is a peaceful organization who doesn't violently protest or anything like that. 
Amnesty International is a good organization for anyone who is looking to support a human rights organization because it is well known, reliable, trustworthy and raises awareness.
