Mrs. Cote's nurse log model is surrounded by trees. It looks like there might be mulch and marshmallows surrounding it.

Hedwig's nurse log model has mice living in the log and lots of crickets.

Similarities:

Mrs. cote's does not have animals.
Hedgwig's has a horcrux on it.

Tylie’s nurse log model has trees and grass next to her log.

Colin’s Nurse log model is surrounded by smaller trees and has more dirt than grass.

Differences: Tylie’s does not have dirt. Colins have lots of dirt.

Similarities: We both have grass next to our log.

A nurse log is a log that has fallen over and can now be a home to any nature that finds it. Nurse logs can look different depending on what nature lives there.

The log has moss, mushrooms, and bark on it. Around it there is grass, rocks, and trees. And there are animals that live inside of it. And in the background there are some birds flying.

Grayson’s nurse log has many tall mushrooms and grass with a blue sky. He also has and some trees including what looks like a mushroom tree.

Ellie’s nurse log has trees that are all different sizes that are home to some birds and a squirrel. She also has mushrooms that are red orange and yellow.

Differences:

Ellie has more trees and animals but Grayson has more mushrooms and the sky with green grass.

We both have moss and also both have mushrooms. Peter has wasps and a wasp nest and Isa don’t. i have clovers and Peter doesn’t have clovers. I also have clouds and Peter doesn’t. I have trees and Peter doesn’t have trees.

One way these are the same are because they both show a log with moss. The second way they are the same is they both take place in a forest with trees. One way these aren’t the same are on one it has a river and the other dosen’t show a river. The second way these are different are that one has way more trees while the other only has 2 on the sides.

Two things that are the same is we both have trees and moss. Two things that are different is mine has an owl and Yuri’s doesn’t. another that is different is Yuri’s has flowers and mine doesn’t.

Connor’s is similar to Nicholas’s because we both have bugs. Connor’s and Nicholas’s is different because he has fungi and Connor’s does not. Avery’s is similar to Connor’s because we both have moss. Avery’s is different Conners Avery has spiders and Connor’s does not. Nicholas’s is similar to Avery’s because we both have bugs. Nicholas’s is different to Averys because she names the bugs and Nicholas’s doesn’t.

A difference is that mine has bugs under it and Leo’s does not. Mine has wood splintering out Leo’s doesn’t.A similarity that these two pictures have is that they both have a tree in the background. Finally, another similarity is that they both have fungi and moss on it. Therefore that is 2 differences and similarities.

Olivia: my log has moss, rocks, mushrooms, and bark on it and inside there is bugs such as spiders ants and maybe even a cockroach. Around it there is trees, grass, bushes, animals like birds. Mine is also different because it has color.

Vinny’s nurse log model shows from in the picture there are tall trees near the nurse log. Also there are roots growing under ground. And there is a tree growing on the nurse log to.
