Despite being in school, it is important for us to have some type of education concerning jobs, and if possible also have a job as well. The National Youth Administration, otherwise known as the NYA program, was able to provide this help to students during the attempted reform after the Great Depression had taken place. During this time, the unemployment rate took a deep dive to the deep-end, and a part of this rate was the unemployment of students. The jobs consisted of building bridges, schools, and furniture, as well as agricultural and industry working. Alongside working, the employees also got educated on the jobs they were taking part in, which prepared them for much more. After the New Deal was presented, it was common for those to now expect the government to take action in terms of when citizens are in need of help.
