Three years after the release of this influential book, Tracy Lee Simmons received the Circe Institute’s Paideia Prize for his lifetime contributions to classical education. Over the course of his career, he has also served as a contributing writer for The Weekly Standard, a contributing editor for Crisis, and both a contributor and associate editor for the National Review. He has also freelanced for more than a dozen major newspapers and journals. In addition to his work as a writer, Mr. Simmons has delivered lectures on a range of educational and literary topics. In 2019, he delivered the keynote address at the Veritas Classical Academy annual fundraiser in Virginia and the commencement address at the Parnassus Preparatory charter school in Minnesota.
