The art of war, compiled over two thousand years ago by a mysterious Chinese warrior philosopher is still perhaps one of the most noteworthy books of strategy today. 

My favourite strategy which I received from The Art of War is "Plan for what is difficult while it's easy, do what is great while it's small. The most difficult things in the world must be done while they are still easy, the greatest things in the world must be done while they are still small."

The reason why I found the book inspirational was because before reading the book I was kind of a procrastinator. Sometimes I would leave my work for tomorrow and that tomorrow would never come, but after reading that book I determined to never leave my work for tomorrow.

It tells the story of her family who live in Frankfurt, Germany and suddenly have to go into hiding as a result of Hitler and the Nazi Party’s treatment of Jews in Europe during the second world war. They escape to Amsterdam where they go into hiding with other Jews. The diary ends suddenly on 1 August 1944.

There are many important messages in this book, but the most important message is that all people have the right to live in freedom. Anne’s story shows us that just because people may be a different religion or race, doesn’t mean that they should be treated differently. The terrible treatment of Jewish people during the war has shown this. Her diary shows us things that people don’t think about now, for example how every day the people in hiding worried about maybe being found and punished.

Anne Frank
I liked that Anne was a really happy and cheerful person even though she and her family were in an awful situation. Anne enjoyed writing and describing others. She was talkative and inquisitive and could be selfish. She was a typical teenage girl and she didn’t always understand how difficult life was for her mother and the other adults around her. She commented on the people who shared their hiding space. Sometimes this wasn’t very nice, but it shows how everybody’s life was challenging because they had to be quiet and not bring attention to themselves.

I would recommend this book to anyone who has an interest in reading historical, war or mystery books as it is so interesting. This book would be suitable for people aged ten upwards since it is very sad in places.

They appear in one of several adolescent detective series which Blyton wrote.
The Secret Seven consists of Peter (the society's head), Janet (Peter's sister), Pam, Barbara, Jack, Colin and George. Jack's sister Susie and her best friend Binkie make occasional appearances in the books; they hate the Secret Seven and delight in playing tricks designed to humiliate them, although this is partly fuelled by their almost obsessive desire to belong to the society.
Unlike most other Blyton series, this one takes place during the school term time because the characters go to day schools.
Continuing Blyton's series, Pamela Butchart wrote two new adventures in the series, adding elements of horror.

Book : Harry potter ( whole series )

I think that the villain here is SEVERUS SNAPE because I know that there is a very mysterious story behind why Snape hates harry so much. Snape was in Slytherin when he went to Hogwarts when he was a kid . He was also the professor for Slytherin when he started teaching in Hogwarts. He loved Harry's mother , Lilly Potter very much.. But Harry's father , James Potter always bullied Snape when he was a child. Harry . however did not know anything about this. When Lilly and Snape grew up , Lilly married James. Snape was sad but also angry at James . When Voldemort killed Harry's parents , Snape was devastated . But why I think Snape is the villain is because , He should have cared for harry when he came as a student , instead of torching him. He should not have gotten jealousy in front of caring for a boy who lived ( Harry Potter ) However , Snape was jealous that Everyone told Harry that he had is mom's eyes and looked like his dad.

The most villianous Character in this story is Tom smith, and his friend Willy with nabber the Alsatian dog who stollen the war medals of General Branksome .The secret seven were trying to solve the mystery of the stollen medals. Willy was the one who stole the medal and hidden it in the tree because he had a small hand. Tom smith's hand was small to take it from the tree,but Willy refused to get the medals for Tom smith. And Tom smith suddenly snatched Peters right hand but it was also small. Then he snatched pam's hand who was watching all this she was trembling of fear. Peter told pam to get the case of medals out quickly and give it to him, but pretend you're still feeling for it. Pam had slid out the case easily, Peter took it quietly and he slid the medals into his pocket and gave the case to them.

Their was a message from Joe for Frank when he accidently falls in love with Naomi Dowd. The message is that " It's true that beauty is only skin deep ."
