I chose this image because it relates to rose in the way of abandonment and loneliness. Rose was abandoned by troy for anther women and Cory was to busy with football so she was alone and got to a point of not longer caring. She became numb to a certain life. I feel that rose feels like this house. Empty, Abandoned, Alone and numb.

I chose this song for rose because of the lyrics that do have song relation to the relationship of rose and Tory, The lyrics "I love you I'm sorry, You were the best, but you were the worst. As sick as it sounds, I loved you first". This relates to rose in so so many ways of how she truly does love troy for his good and bad but at some point there wasn't any good within him and she had continued to love troy. The line 'I loved you first" kind of tells in a way that rose has always loved troy and she loved him more than he loved her.

The message of the play to me is dreams. Everyone wants something in the play. Troy says "All I want them to do is change the job description.Troy says "I don't want to be punching nobody's time clock" Rose says "don't you think I had dreams and hopes, what about my life,what's about me." I feel the reason why the themes are dreams is because in this play everyone has a dream that they want and or need.
