“Ingenuity influenced by your eulogy
Going through memories
Like they're were movies scenes” This is an example of a simile where he compares his real life to usually over exaggerated movies scenes

"I remember when we were just kids
We knew nothing at all
We'd talk about the life we lived
West Virginia, lost somewhere out in
West Virginia” He uses repitetion to emphasize how much he thinks about the person referenced and how quickly life moves on

"I heard he moved to a place where the time don't end
You don't need money, all you got is time to spend” He uses him moving to this place where time doesn’t end as a metaphor for him passing away and movie on from this reality that he is in . He also uses time as a metaphor for money in this new place also known as heaven

Rhythm-The slow paced rhythm adds to the overall sad tone of the song

•Imagery
"I still see your shadows in my room, can’t take back the love that I gave you”
In this Imagery it’s clear that juice wrld is in pain, jealousy and he’s in denial because a girl broke his heart.
As he says says in the song “your heart is full of mistakes I gave you my heart and you made heart break”

•Hyperbole
"You left me falling and landing inside my grave, I know that you want me dead”
By these lyrics we can tell that he’s exaggerating the pain he’s in to make a point on horn much she hurt him and he’s not able to cope with it.

•Assonance/Repitition
"Shadows in my room can’t take back the love that I gave you, it’s to the point that I love and I hate you”
The Repitition in this quote is love. And the assonance is representing by the broad words like “room” and “you”

Simile: • ‘Now I’m floating like a butterfly’ This shows us that she is now free from being trapped
• ‘ Stinging like a bee I earned my stripes’ she picked herself up is now strong and achieved it by herself
• ‘ You hear my voice, you hear that sound like thunder, gonna shake the ground’ this can also be used as a hyperbole as she compares the strength of her voice to thunder which also exaggerates how loud her voice actually is

Rhyme: • ‘ So I say quietly, agreed politely’ Katy uses Internal Rhyme that helps build up the melody and makes the song very catchy

Symbol: • ‘ You held me down but I got up’ This implies that a man was taking control of her life but she took control and became a stronger person in the end. This helps this song become more relatable to people who are maybe in toxic relationships and they decide to do whats best for them

Repetition: • ‘ You’re gonna hear me roar’ This is to exaggerate her point that she is a strong , fierce, independent woman who doesn’t need a man to feel happy and fulfilled in her life.

Shine Bright Like A Diamond

•Rhyme and Repetition
Rihanna uses rhyme and repetition to make her song easily remembered and to put emphasis on it.
Rhyme—“Feel the warmth we’ll never die, we’re like diamonds in the sky”
Repetition—“Shine bright like a diamond”

•Similes
There is a great use of similes included in this song. Rihanna uses similes to help create a clearer picture for her song
"Shine bright like a diamond”
"We’re beautiful like diamonds in then sky”
She says this to represent the power in woman and that they should have more confidence.

•Personification
When Rihanna used personification it made he image more personal for the listener and also added emphasis on it.
"I saw the life inside your eyes”
She says this because she sees the emotions clearly from that person.

•Metaphors
She uses a metaphor as she helps the reader imagine the image more clearly.
"Youre a shooting star I see”
Shes staying this as she puts description on someone when she describes them as “bright”

•Imagery
Imagery helps the reader paint a better picture while listening to the song.
"Shine bright like s diamond”
“Moon shines”
"Find light in the beautiful sea”
She is saying this as, again, she is helping us paint a better picture of her song and make it have alot of meaning behind it.

Repetition: "Will happen, hapening, happened" "You and I will always be back then". This emphasises the main points in the song, which are A: Don't be sad because it's over, be happy because it happened, and B:Just because somethings over doesn't mean you loose the people there.

Metahpor & Symbolism: "Time is an illusion that helps things make sence". There's not much to elaborate on as this is fairly self explanatory; it means exactly what is sung and helps to establish the theme of the song.

Alliteration & Assonance: "Will happen, happening, happened". This is an example of both techniques as not only are the first letters the same but the first vowels in the words are too. This is to reinforce the main points this song is trying to convay.

Rhyme & Rhytnm: The first few lines have not only the same amount of syllable to keep in time of the uniqur beat of the song, but also consistantly rhymes along with the rest of the words consistantly.

Simile: "And hang each moment up like pictures on the wall". The use of this technique definetly contributes to the description of the creator of the songs feelings.

Imagery
"I can see you're sad, even when you smile, even when you laugh. I can see it in your eyes, deep inside you wanna cry". This shows us from his point of view how his daughter is feeling.
"Maybe one day we'll wake up and this will all just be a dream" this is another example of an imagery because he is picturing how life could be like if this was all a dream. This could also be an example of a metaphor.

Onomatopoeia/ Ryhme
"Where all we got in this world. When it spins, when it swirls, when it whirls, when it twirls". In this he is referring to the world constantly moving.

Symbol
"Stiffen that upper lip up little lady". He is using this phrase to tell his daughter to toughen up and that everything will be okay.

Methaphor/ Alliteration

1.)”He was waiting for the bus in his army green, sat down in a booth in a cafe there gave his order to a girl with a bow in her hair”
•imagery
•very descriptive language helps you to picture the setting whilst listening to the song.

2.)”Our love will never end”
•assonance&hyperbole
•the repetition of broad vowels slows down the rhythm of the song. This tells the story better because it is slow.

3.)”He’s a little shy so she gives him a smile”
•alliteration
•It makes the song more musical and gives it a better flow by stressing letters.

4.)”I got no one to send a letter to would you mind if i sent one back here to you”
•rhyme
•makes the song sound better and makes the lyrics flow. It also makes the song easy to remember and puts stress on certain words.

5.)”I cried never gonna hold the hand of another guy”
•Rhythm&Hyperbole
•Slow pace to represent the seriousness of the story behind the song -soldiers going off to war.

6.)Chorus
•repetition
•the chorus is repeated to add emphasis to the song and makes it catchy.

"When I wake up I'm afraid somebody else might take my place"

2. Hyperbole
The use of hyperbole in this song is used to showcase that the singer has a damaged psyche with the lines "You make me want to die" and "Being me can only mean being scared to breathe"

3.
