How did everyone get down during the middle ages to disperse those plague blues? Every party had live music complete with drums, recorders, and lutes, and women would even get crazy and wear ribbons and their hair. Wine was bonteous. Parties were not limited by class so every class!

Apparently, choir books in the middle ages were quite easy to see. Singing in the choir was a major religious responsibility, so maybe optimal visibility helped minimize error. However, it has also been much easier for us to understand this notation than ancient Greek or Roman notation. (TH)

The clothing was made out of natural fibers, the wealthy class could afford dyed clothing whereas the lower class could not.
