I am sitting in my “power spot” overlooking rice patties - flooded from last night’s torrential rain storm - here in northeast Thailand. I really like it here, have a delightful girlfriend (no, she is not 18!) and am thinking of moving here permanently. I will be back in the USA June 4th so, unfortunately I will miss our reunion. I met our new president a few months ago in San Francisco. WOW! Bowdoin has come so far from the virtually all white male school (drawing mostly from Maine and Massachusetts) to one that has 30-40 percent people of color and a much more national and international student mix. I am not sure I could get into Bowdoin today. Anyway, have fun, stay healthy i.e. STAY ALIVE!
