I think the most impressive structure is the Statue of Liberty because of how it can shape an icon of it’s own location even with the fact that it was constructed by a foreign country. The Statue of Liberty is now synonymous with the City of New York. It changed the way we look at New York City and the perception that we have upon the city. The Statue of Liberty attracted countless tourists from all around the world. If we look at New York City nowadays, we will think of the Statue of Liberty right away and I think that’s amazing.

In my opinion, tourists at this time and age visit places with many different motives. One of the motives include the internet itself and social media. Instagram is one of the main factors that can push tourism to one place and that includes the three places in the Aim High book. History can also affect how people think of these landmarks as well.

I’d like to visit the Statue of Liberty due to its shape and form. I thinks it’s very iconic and famous and is synonymous with the city itself. I’d also like to visit New York City itself as well so the Statue of Liberty is part of the package.

I’d use the Statue of Liberty as a gift since I think it’s very symbolic. The name itself reminisce about freedom and liberty itself.

Work on building lasted from May 1952 until July 1955 and 16 workest died in accidents during construction.
It stands 231 metres high and it has got 42 storeys and 3,288 rooms including three theatres.
