I do often-- I think because I like to not be still-- use kinesthetic hooks. Before beginning some of our more controversial novels/plays/short stories, I will often do a "hot-cold" kind of walk. They move to an area of the room depending on their opinions to controversial statements. This kinesthetic hook is easiest for me. We move and act out things often.
The most difficult is probably the Safari hook...mostly because I'm always aware of the clock. I don't want to spend time "getting" somewhere if it doesn't fit what we're doing. I think I could be more creative with this.

I also feel like I use kinesthetic hooks often. I think that the age of kids that I teach, respond best to that. I can incorporate movement into counting and I have a "sight word hopscotch" game planned to do outside in the next few weeks. I have also used the people prop hook during math. The safari hook would take the most planning and it would be the most difficult for me. I feel like the lesson could get away from me if the kids were not in a normal learning environment.
