I enjoyed this assignment of collecting data and the reasons behind why the student was exhibiting behaviors. This was my first time collecting data, so it was good practice. I want to keep these tables so I can determine how to collect data in my future.

Classroom and Behavior Management Plan

This was a helpful assignment that gave me an idea of how I want my classroom to be. It included five different headings. These were relations with students, family and colleagues, development of classroom rules and expectations, appropriate responses for minor misbehavior, strategic design of the physical classroom environment and anticipated professional development.

I chose this reading journal because it is important to remember how to develop an effective behavior management plan. This reading journal helped me create my behavior intervention plan as well.

This reading journal titled How to use consequences to decrease behavior is always a good tool to keep. Sometimes we perform these methods and don't even realize we are doing it. It is good to remember your options when addressing problem behaviors.
