~The Moderator will make periods of time safe randomly, so watch the Remind.

~All Assassins-sponsored events will be safe for the period of the event as well as 30 minutes on either side of it.

~Obviously you can't play when everyone is on break, so during breaks the game is paused.

Safe zones:

1. Residence Buildings. This is anything that is encompassed in a res-hall. Rooms, hallways, stairs, union restaurants, etc...

2. The Student Union. Four floors of relief from anxiety.

3. Classrooms from 7 am-7 pm. As long as a class is in session or in between sessions, it is safe. For example, the top floor of the Bell Engineering building at 9 PM will not be considered safe, but please be smart about your surroundings!

4. Off-campus. The game is only in play on UA's campus. UA covers over 500 acres; that's enough space to play the game. Yes, the land owned by UA but not connected to the main portion counts. No, you do not need to cause havoc at a Walmart.

Safe Roles:

1. At work. If a player is at work, clocked in, they are off-limits. However,  if they are just clocked in but have not yet arrived for their shift, or their shift has ended, they are fair game.

2. Student Leadership Positions. Players that have to be at a certain place at a certain time to fulfill a student leadership role are safe. As with everything, there is a line. Hanging out with the team outside of Chick-Fil-A, will not be considered safe.

3. Intramural/Club Sports. If a player is on a team that is currently playing, they cannot be killed. They are safe half an hour before the game starts and an hour and a half after it starts.

Players should join the Remind and follow the UArk_assassins Instagram to stay up to date. 

~Every player will be randomly assigned a target. The name of their target will be written on a spoon. It is then up to the player to "kill" that target by tapping them on the neck or shoulder with the spoon that says the target's name. The player who was just killed must give their spoon to their killer.

Ex: Player 1 has Player 2's spoon.

Player 2 has Player 3's spoon.

Player 1 kills Player 2, so Player 1's next target is Player 3. 

This continues until there is only one player remaining. 

~Players must get a video of the kill or with their target after the kill confirming it. Videos must be sent to the Architect as soon as possible. As soon as a kill has been made and the video has been received, a message will be sent through the Remind Thread notifying the entire group. 

~There will be designated safe zones which are off-limits to make kills. Keep an eye on the Remind, however, because sometimes safe zones will be taken down.

This game will require you to strategize, stakeout, and outthink your target all while staying one step ahead of your killer. 

While at times the game can get intense and anxieties will be high, remember that it is just a game, there is no reason to break friendships over it. 

So go, follow the rules, find your target, and above all, meet new friends.
