Theoretical knowledge in psychology has continuously varied since its development. It enables us to explore the depth of why we strive to receive knowledge.

History is archived knowledge that can be proved by archeological findings and classical scripts.

History serves for example, as a record of culture and its essential meaning. Without it, many ethnical groups would be indifferent to their identity (This applies also to individuals within multicultural societies).

Memory is needed to recall certain knowledge theories in order to apply it in real life (in which case you will be using reason). Language is used to communicate ideas with others and therefore share knowledge which also adds to finding out the meaning to life. Our live's purpose can be seen as gaining knowledge in order to better understand our environment (people and the world). Most of how we live our life is also based on what kind of person we want to be, imagination plays a part on how we want to picture ourselves becoming, we use our knowledge to maximize our potential of being the kind of person we desire to be. Because of our intellectual knowledge, we have intuition.
