         <description><![CDATA[<div>While the AK-47 was shipped to Vietnam in great numbers to equip the North Vietnamese Army and the Viet Cong, it also armed the Soviet Red Army.This weapon was one of the most used weapons because they were mass produced and shipped to Vietnam.It wasn't the most accurate but with the hiding ability they had they were able to catch many soldiers off guard.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The Vietnamese did not put up well with the invasion, and did everything in their power to defend against the Americans. One strategy was booby traps. These traps were usually covered in leaves, bushes or just grass they hid their traps well and caught a lot of soldiers off guard.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>UH-1 helicopter, named the Huey, which could fly at low altitudes and speeds and land easily in small spaces. U.S. forces used the Huey to transport troops. The Huey was very important when it came to transporting troops in and out it saved many lives because it was able to fly so low. Flying so low prevented alot of them from being shot down.<br><br></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The United States Marines used flamethrowers in the Korean and Vietnam Wars. The M132 Armored Flamethrower was very successful for taking out cover like the napalm strikes.They also made flamethrowers on tanks when they had open areas the tanks could go. I would say this helps with taking away the cover for the enemy because without the cover the Vietnamese were not ready.</div>]]></description>
