The first reason that I think Horton is caring is he stood up for the piece of dust. One example of this is when he was talking to the piece of dust and the sour kangaroo said that there were no people living on that speck of dust. And horton stood up to the kangaroo even though that the sour kangaroo was bigger and stronger this proves he is caring couse he stood up to the sour kangaroo.¨Please don't hurt my little friends.¨ said horton. My second example of horton standing up for the piece of dust is when horton stood. Up to the monkey brothers and argued that he knew that there were people on that spec of dust. “People are people no matter how small “. Horton said. And even though there were two of them, Horton didn't get scared and was determined to protect the piece of dust. This proves that Horton is caring because he knew that there were people on that piece of dust and he would do anything to protect them.

My second reason that I think that horton is caring is because he chased Vlad vladikoff. The first example of horton chasing vlad vladikoff is when the monkey brothers grabbed the flowers out of hortons hand and horton chased them instead of just letting them take the flower and not care about it and thinking that they will keep the piece of dust safe. But instead Horton chased them even though they were faster than him. After a little while the monkey brothers handed off the flower to Vlad vladikoff. This proves that Horton is caring couse he chased the monkey brothers really far and was determined to protect the flower. and instead of stopping and giving up cause vlad vladikoff is an eagle horton kept following vlad vladikoff and even though vlad vladikoff was faster horton was determined to stop him. After a while of going over mountains and going through fields Vlad Vladikoff stopped at his destination and dropped the flower in a field filled with the same identical flower two hundred yards long and wide. And horton could have given up and assumed that the speck of dust was fine horton was determined to find the speck of dust and protect it So horton went through all the flowers and took his time to look through the flowers and on the three millionth flower horton found the exact flower. This proves that Horton is caring couse he took his time to look through the flowers and took his time to chase the monkey brothers and Vlad vladikoff.

My final reason that I think Horton is caring is because he warned the piece of dust that they are in danger because the monkey brothers are going to burn the piece of dust. The first example off horton warning the piece of dust is when he found the piece of dust out of the field the monkey brothers brought there whole bloodline and the sour kangaroo they brought a rope and tried to tie horton up horton tried to escape but horton was outnumbered by the monkey brothers bloodline and the sour kangaroo. So horton yelled and cried to the piece of dust so everyone in that planet could yell so the monkey brothers could hear everyone yelled and made as much noise as possible and they still couldn't hear so the mayor of the town looked around and everyone was yelling except one tiny toddler horton told them to yell louder and they yelled as loud as they can but then when the one toddler started to yell with the rest of the town the sour kangaroo could hear them and the sour kangaroo agreed to help horton take care of the piece of dust. This proves that horton is caring couse he warned the piece of dust that they were in danger because if horton didn't tell them to yell then they would've gotten boiled.

These three reasons are why I believe horton is caring couse he stood up to the sour kangaroo,chased vlad vladikoff and told the piece of dust that they were in trouble because he chased vlad vladikoff and took his time to look through the field that was really wide. And also told the piece of dust to yell and warned them if they didn't they would get boiled. And he also stood up for them and stood up to the sour kangaroo these are the three reasons I think Horton is caring.
