Hello, I wanted to introduce myself.

I am about to be 52 years old in 10 days. I have been married for 11 years. I have 2 grown children and a Niece that I raised. I have 5 Grandchildren, 4 Great Nephews (like my grandchildren), and 7 Grand dogs. I have been a nurse for 23 years and love caring for people.

I Graduated from Nursing School in 2003 from Petit Jean College in Arkansas. I have worked in many fields during my nursing career. I started in a Nursing Home which was hard and stressful work. I also worked in a community for developmentally disabled people and I loved that Job. But when I moved to Texas 15 years ago I started Home Health. I have worked for the same company for 13 years and I love my Job. I love doing wound care and that is my specialty. What I love most about being a nurse is helping people and always being there when they need you the most. I also enjoy getting to talk with the elderly population and hearing about their lives.

I met My Husband Wendell Moore when I was 16 years old. we dated for a little while and then we both moved on with our lives. about 16 years ago we met back up and started dating again. we moved to Texas together and we got married 11 years ago. My husband is a wonderful, funny, and outgoing man. He works very hard in the oil field as a fuel tech and for many years he worked in west Texas on the rigs, but recently he has been able to work on rigs that are close to home and he is home every night and we are loving this. He is a wonderful provider and enjoys traveling and entertaining his friends.

My Son Aaron is 33 years old, He lives in Arkansas and he has 5 children. I don't get to see them much because they have busy lives. he loves to cook and is a wonderful Father.

My Daughter Natasha is 27, She lives about 4 blocks from me here in Fort Worth. She has 7 Dogs and is a wonderful Dog Mom. She is the life of the party and just lights up a room when she walks in.

My Niece Daisha is 36. She lives in Arkansas and when my sister passed away 21 years ago, my niece was only 15, so I took care of her. She has 4 boys and they are just like my grandkids. she is a nurse and a very busy mom.

The first picture of me was taken in May of 2022. I started taking Mounjaro in August 2022 and My highest weight was 275lb. I have lost a total of 95lb. I have been overweight all of my life and most of my family is overweight. we grew up eating unhealthy foods and our way of showing love for each other was cooking for everyone. I have been a diabetic for over 15 years and in May of 2022 my A1c was 11.9 (now it is 5.2), and my kidneys were starting to fail. I did not want to end up on dialysis. so I started very hard to try and lose weight. I had lost about 15lb when I found out about Mounjaro for Diabetes. I asked my Dr. for it and she started me on it in August of 2022. I am still on it to this day and I will stay on it for the rest of my life. Mounjaro is not the solution for weight loss but it helps so very much to take the cravings, food noise, and appetite suppression. I had to work very hard to lose the weight, BUT I DID IT. I have body dysmorphia and feel like I am still very big and I am scared to death to put the weight back on, but I have to keep pushing every day to make healthy choices.

I love to make wreaths and do Crafts. When I first bought my house I wanted a wreath for my front door. when I realized how expensive they were I decided to make my own. Now I make wreaths and sell them and I have a craft room in my home.
