It is the famous battle that is known as the start of the war for American Independance from Britains. What happened was Massachusets Colonists refuted the British control, and in this battle they out numbered the red coats and dominated them. And is famous for the shot that was heard around the world, and it was an American victory.

Bunker Hill

Bunker Hill was a British victory. But became proof that Americans had the ability to hold their own against British forces. What happened was the colonists retreated over Bunker Hill. Which allowed the British to take over the Peninsula.

Trenton

Trenton was a American victory. It's signifigance was that it was the first win in a long time for Americans after suffering a bunch. What happened is Continental Army captured 900 Hessian officers and soldiers which gave them in turn a large supply of weapons.

Saratoga

Battle of Saratoga was an American victory. It's significance was that it was the Climax/Turning point of the war. That raised American's morale significantly, and created a stronger strive for independence. As well as granting the luxurie of foreign support. What happened is the battle was fought on Loyalists John Freeman's farm. When Burgoyne's army crossed the Hudson river from the west, and was preparing to break through Gate's line to get into albany.

Cowpens

Cowpens was an American Victory. The significance was that it slowed the British's efforts/attempts to invade North Carolina. What happened is the battle was a very dominant victory for the Colonists largley proved by the casualties and injuries the British had 98 more soldiers killed, 140 more wounded/injured, and 500 of their soldiers were taken prisoner by the end of this under an hour battle.

Yorktown

The battle of York town which was aided by France lead to an American victory. And the significance was that it made Britain surrender and granted Americans their independence from Britian control. What happened was Colonists outnumbered and dominated the British army in a siege. Which led to the British's army surrender.
