While reading this book, I felt like it was becoming very suspenseful. Once Luke and Jen formed a friendship, he would leave his attic and go to her house without anyone seeing him. As I would continue to read on, I had a feeling that someone would discover Luke and call the government on the family. One day Jen told Luke she was going with the rally to the capital to protest. Luke was a cautious boy, and didn’t go with her in fears of getting caught. He begged her not to go either, but she went anyway. Luke discovers from Jen’s dad that she died while at the capital. He became very sad over her death and ended up getting a fake ID card so he didn’t have to hide anymore. 

                If I had to choose a book similar to this this one, it would be Wonder. In this book August is lonely because his face is deformed. He is all to himself in his room playing games. He eventually becomes friends with this girl called summer. I would have to say in this book I read, when Jen and the rally dies, it was very distressing. I would recommend this book to another student because of its suspense. It was hard to find a stopping point in this story. I think a boy my age could relate to this book and enjoy it as much as I did. I rate this book a thumps up! Like I said it was suspenseful and exiting. The author used a lot of detailed word to describe the plot witch made a clear picture of what was going on.
