It was learning because there was practice, corrections,and encouragement happening. -Forcing the child to stop, look at him, and listen when she was struggling with instructions.
-Encouraging her to sing her name song rather than giving her the answer.
-Repeating beginning sounds before saying the word such as hhhham.
                 It's important to note that as the child's mother I know the name song and letter repetition comes from home not school.
