for girls. However, as they grow up, the focus for a woman will be no longer herself but her family.  They have more to worry rather than dressing up or making up. 

However, beauty is always what women are pursuiting. Even women grow old, they still want to be pretty and fasionable.We can tell from the picture that the elderly lady is enjoying herself being pretty again. This will help her to feel young again. The elderly lady will also feel the community is caring her. After making up, I believe the elderly  lady will become more energetic and confident.

2. Young people can invite the elderly to join them in their activities so that the elderly would not feel left out. By doing so, the elderly can learn more about the modern technology such as using smartphones and using laptops. This way, the elderly are able to feel that they are not left out in this modern world. Also, young people can interact with the elderly and learn about the activites done in the past. This will allow the elder to recollect about their past memories in the olden days, thus feeling more happy.

2 - They can share their activities with the elderly and teach them what this generation has to offer, teaching them the

important infromation to survive in this generation. They can also hosts activities designed especially for the elderly, such

as an event that appreciates their deeds and past doings. This will make their lives more meaningful and allow them to live

their lives with better confidence and self-respect.

3 - I would agree that an ageing population is one major problem society faces as Singapore is on the move at an

exponential rate, but with the productivity of the elderly, our progress will slow down, and we will be unable to maintain

our progress in society. This would also be a problem as there will be lesser young talents, and lesser perspectives from a

new generation of workers, which would make us have the same old ideas and no new initiatives.

However, I also do not totally agree that it is a major problem we face as the elderly have their uses. They can impart values

that the generation now will never understand. They can also let us learn of their past mistakes, and allow us to develop

from their successes.

Therefore, there are two sides of the story, and two ways that i view this question.

-Having someone put the make up on her would make her feel young again.

-This shows that the community appreciates the elderly.

-After being glamorous, the feelings of decrepitude will dissipate.

-It also brings precious memories of her younger days.

- e.g playing Chinese chests with the elderly. especially the frequent players at the void deck.

As they are involved in the same activities, both elderly and young people can

foster friendly ties by understanding one another better.

- The make-up would cover their wrinkles allow them to have skin that looks youthful.

- This allows them to feel young and allow them to enjoy looking young.

- Hence, they would enjoy being made up like this.

2) - Young people can allow the elderly to participate in the same activities as them.

- This would cause the elderly not to feel left out.

- This allows the elderly to feel as though their lives are still worth living for.

- Thus the lives of the elderly can be enriched by youths and the elderly having more social cohesion.

3) - I agree that the ageing population is a serious problem for modern society.

- This is because the modern society relies mainly on the working population.

- If the population of the elderly is greater than the population of the working population it would cause immense strain on the working population to support the elderly.

- Thus, the ageing population is a serious problem for modern society.

Personally I believe that elderly people would enjoy this activity is because during this event they may have a sense that they are being young again. I think that every lady want to remain young and pretty but we will still getting older and older with the time pass by. One day we will release that our looking are not as nice as when we are young. However by wearing the make up we can decorate ourselves become prettier and this may attract ladies despite their age. Hence the elderly lady may get back her confidence and feel good by herself hence i can say that this activity is every enjoyable.

2.The simplest thing that young people can do is to teach the elderly people. Young people like us should care about the aged people's lack of understanding of modern technology such as smartphones and computes and we can teach them how to use these modern devices and prevent them to be left out by the society. Moreover young people can also involve the elderly people by organizing activities which are suitable for the elderly people. For example, we can organize activities and event like a mini concert. We can perform the songs that elderly people like the most make them enjoy and let them feel enriching.

- If the population of the elderly is greater than the population of the working population it would cause immense strain on the working population to support the elderly.

- Thus, the ageing population is a serious problem for modern society.

They will be very happy. They will forget that they are old and they will be young.

They will also feel very comfortable.

2) Younger generations should spend more time with their elderly family members. In addition, the younger generations should respect the elderly and also they should get involved in community services. They could participate actively in fund raising projects and be volunteers in elderly home. They can raise funds and the money can be given to elderly who are in need.

3)I agree that an ageing population is one of the major problems facing modern society. The cost of living is too high so young couples are not willing to have children. There is more elderly then young adults. The working population is more pressurized. The government has to spend more money for heaithcare. This will affect a country's financial status. Moreover, the elderly will also resign their jobs and there isn't enough young population to take up the jobs. This will result to economic downturn which will affect the the income of the residents
