Our project can help empower and guide the school community towards building more environmentally friendly and responsible habits through an effort to reduce, reuse, and recycle paper. By reducing and reusing paper, we are lessening the amount of paper waste generated by the school, with the benefits of decreasing the demand for paper, thus helping decrease the rate of production and deforestation in China. These all can have a positive environmental effect since these actions help decrease the amount of greenhouse gas, preserve the trees which absorb carbon dioxide, lower water consumption and contamination, and more.

In addition, we are reusing the paper waste in ways that can benefit the lives of the community such as compost which can be used to grow organic foods and plants by all of us, homemade paper that can be a sustainable way to have fun and be creative with kids, scent packs that can be put in cars or wardrobes to enhance the environment, and more.
