Because I believe that before a church or holy building was built, it was just another piece of land and without all the power of those within the church is similar to any other structure, because the actual reason why a church seems like such a sacred place is because all who gather come with faith and firm belief, but if the same people went to the middle of a forest and prayed amongst one another I believe that the feeling of purity and sanctuary would be just as strong. The first concert I attended was the Hillsong United concert with my church group back at home; this concert was remarkably opening for myself because when I was attending this concert, i was already a follower of the lord but was still finding my way in my spiritual path. Attending this concert showed me that not no matter how you worship it is still compelling and meaningful, although I had a poor understanding of the language I was still able to connect and praise my god that goes by a different name but is always respected in the same way.
