I have been in the "cheer world" since age 5! After cartwheeling across the soccer field during my soccer game that my poor father was so passionate about succeeding in, my parents decided to finally give into my begging. I started in a smaller gym and ended in one of the biggest named gyms in the sport (Cheer Athletics). I am passionate about cheerleading because it has shaped who I am today. The cheer gym was always my outlet, my safe space and my home away from home. I am here today thanks to my coaches who never failed to support me physically and mentally. Competitive Cheerleading is a large subculture of over 3 million athletes in the U.S alone. This sport consists of its own realm of knowledge, skills as well as details. Filled with competition, passion and hard work on a level differing from any sport you know!
