         <description><![CDATA[<div>Before Taking the position of the Supreme Court justice, William was the 27th President of the United States. After presidency he became the 10th Chief Justice of the United States. He was elected President in 1908 but he was beaten in the re-election by Woodrill Wilson. Thats when President Warren G Harding appointed Taft to the the Supreme Court Justice. A short month after that,&nbsp; he had passed away. Taft was known as the heavy President obviously because of his weight.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The President at the time is allowed to appoint anyone that meets the requirements of being a supreme Court Justice.<br><br>How they are chosen:<br>A large group of nominees are chosen. They go through the nomination process after that, which is basically picking and choosing which of the nominees meet the requirements or the experience level. or based on their political ideology. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>The justices are suppose to stick with one party because that is how they are chosen. If a nominee is siding with two parties he could risk being a major flaw. Their job is to approve cases that have been passed through the rest of the courts. The supreme court is the final judge in the process.</div>]]></description>

This case was made because Balzac had been arrested and brought to court in Puerto Rico but thought his rights from the 6th Constitutional Amendment had been taken when they did not allow trial by jury. Because Puerto Rico did not have trial by jury if it was a misdemeanor  </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>Taft did not receive the reputation he should have for his public policies, he was afraid that he would be vindicated by history. He only served a month as the Chief Supreme Court Justice. Due to bad health he had passed away. </div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>William H Taft did live a political life, He was the President of the US and also the Chief Supreme court Justice. Though he had made bad decisions with his health, he got to live through most of it. He did however die from his weight problem shortly after he became the Justice.  Taft did not receive the rep he should have and he went out kind of losing.</div>]]></description>
