In the town of “Quemado” there was a problem with the watering system and a lack of water in the higher areas of the town. Water was not able reach most of the houses that were higher up in the mountains. The people there only had water when they open the water cistern of the town. The thing was that the cistern was open three times a week and for one to two hours. This was a problem that was escalating quickly.

The people had to take advantage of the days and hours that the cistern was open to fill every can, bucket and gallon with eater. Other wise they run the chance of spending a day without any water. This was really hard for everyone, people had to stop whatever they were doing to go gather water. This was especially problematic for people that were working during the time that the cistern was open. The town was to be expected mad over the state of the life they were living.

A solution was need it and fast. The town people and the leaders that manage de water system of the town got together to arrive at an agreement. They talk for several hours about possible solutions to the problem. However, the solution they went with had a lot of problems. They wanted a more modern system that used a powerful motor to pump water from the well to all the houses un the town.

The issue was that this system required a bigger personal and more funds to maintained. Luckily the town people accepted the terms. And the man in the town decided to help out with the maintenance of the system which included cleaning and taking care of the motor. The part of the funds people chooses to pat 20 bucks per month and open up a bank account in the name of the town to save money in case that the motor needed to be replace for a new one.

This way the town was able to solve the water problem and no longer have to worry about not having the resource of water in their homes. This was possible cause the town people worked together to accomplish their goal. And to this day the town still has water in all his houses.
