She also holds a bachelor of arts in religion from Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota. Amy Chan founded Social Catalyst Consulting in 2019, drawing on more than 20 years of organizational leadership experience to guide nonprofits, universities, and social enterprises in their efforts to promote civic engagement and community empowerment. In her role with Social Catalyst Consulting, Ms. Chan worked with the Boston-based nonprofits College for Social Innovation on expanding their college partner portfolio, as well as with the National Mentoring Partnership to develop their strategic planning goals. Prior to founding Social Catalyst Consulting, she served as Associate Dean of Students and Director of the University Community Service Center at the University of Chicago. Outside of work, Ms. Chan enjoys learning Spanish and participating in local arts and cultural events.
