As I got older I realized I did not have any personal ties to any religion so I stopped going to church. This was a personal decision for me and I am glad I realized that it is okay for me to have family members who do attend church without me feeling guilty. This means, growing up I never believed in Santa. This is done all over Denmark and my family there does it as well. We never had stockings on Christmas either until my step dad because that was a tradition for him. There would be community "fun days" with bouncy castles and snacks and face painting. It was a nice way to grow up and helped me make a lot of friends. I do think it is important to try to educate people about scientific evidence especially during the pandemic with the Covid vaccine. Relationships help us connect with people and learn new things from them. My friendships and relationships with people in my life are so important to me and they have helped shape me into who I am today. I am exactly where I need to be right now and I know that things will work out the way I want them to. I was also taught that if I wanted to receive kindness from someone I had to show it to them as well. These seem like basic principals to follow in life but it seems they are often forgotten.
