         <description><![CDATA[<div>How did they use facial expressions, especially their eyes?<br>&nbsp;</div><div>Teachers used facial expressions to express surprise, interest, excitement and expectation. They use more serious facial expressions when waiting for students to cooperate. They raised their eyebrows when students suggested interesting ideas, and when they were talking themselves. Some of the graduate teachers expressed nervousness when they expected students to know things, but they didn’t/</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>&nbsp;How did their posture change during the lesson?&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>When listening to students they leaned forward. When working with student groups they bent down to the level of the students.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>To what extent did they use gestures?&nbsp;<br><br></div><div>A lot.</div><div>&nbsp;</div><div>How did the classroom environment reinforce their non-verbal actions.<br><br></div><div>&nbsp;The teacher was talking at the front of the class, so she was able to pint to the class when saying ‘you’ or ‘you guys’.</div><div>&nbsp;</div>]]></description>
