Sharing stories with children is important because it’s a way of teaching as we would value our grandparents telling us stories.

Stories are valuable because we are telling them about what happened before with our ancestors, it is important because it teaches children to listen and use their brains/ imagination

One of our favourite book at our daycare is Parts of My Body

Going over the pages I ask the children what can you do with your hands? What can you make? And they cooperate and go along and enjoy.

Because they learn language and to tell stories, they love listening to us reading a book and they concentrate on the pictures and loves to ask questions

Reading a book is important to children because it can calm their mind and learning new words, seeing the pictures on the books is really important because they get to learn alot of things in books, some books can either be a songs that they get to enjoy dancing and reading books at the same.

Reading books to children is important for their memory skills, their mood and learning new things. Reading to them in a circle brings us closer together as a daycare family they feel comfortable in, and maybe even share the similarities they’ve experienced them selves which help strengthen memory skills too.
