Then, my mom called me and said something that shattered / changed my world. Our cat died. I was in shock and just thinking that this wasn't true, but they came home with our cat cradled in my mom's arm lifeless. I was really upset and regretted not going to the vet with our cat, but soon I learned to get over it and accepted that our cat is in a better place.

It was a moving day. Memories and heart-warming moments were built in that house. I was upset that the house that I grew up in was being sold. But, my mom told me "not to worry, we can always build memories in our new house." I realized that she was right, and we did. We built a lot of memories that will be continued for years and years ahead.

So, when my mom came in she had tears falling down from her eyes. I asked her what was wrong, and she said something that really took a turning point in my life. My grandpa had a heart attack and he died. I was shocked and out of sorts. I was feeling mixed emotions and did not know how to respond to what happened. This was a time in my life where it would be tough. Soon, I learned to accept what happened and continued on with my life.
