Now it makes me realize that if we learn a new language like this then we kind of get the same experience as Moises. I also realize that if we learn Spanish now we might be able to help someone like Moises who is new to the U.S. This reflection has changed my point of view because I used to think that learning Spanish (or any new language) might be a waste of time because I used to think that everyone knew English (this was a long time ago but the video has helped me to realise how much more important it is to learn at least a little of a language).

He is going to a school where the poeple there spek a language he does not speak at all. I took away that when you really try your best at things, no matter how impossible they might seem, they can always come true. I am not really learning spanish since I already know it, but if I was I would say that it makes me think about how lucky I am to be able to be learning it in an enviorment where almost everyone is on the same level as me. It also makes me think that learning spanish can not only be for myslef, but also to be able to help, and understand others. It had to be uncomfortable to be in a class where he didn't really understand what was going on.  I took from Moises that sometimes you have to be able to adapt and try new things. This changed my point of view on my learning because all of us that dont understand Spanish that well are going through the same thing in a way.

Moises IB learner profile trait would be that he's a risk-taker and a thinker because he took the test knowing he wouldn't understand most of it so he brought  dictionary  out during the test to help him understand, the teacher saw this and had to take the dictionary away which could've gotten him a immediate 0 on the test cause i think that could be counted as cheating.

What i've taken away from the video about Moises is that he's a good student he just has a lot of obstacles coming his way such as not being able to understand and people bullying him that he has to deal with at school, other students try to get him out of the test but instead of going with them he takes the test cause then he could say he tried and do well on the test after other students were bringing him down.

It's affected my Spanish learning by making me want to learn more to help people that don't understand english out.

He is also independent because he could have skipped the test, but he chose to stay and take it.

This also shows how open minded Moises is in trying to find out about how to solve the math problems. I took away from that video that people have trouble with a new language all the time. This told me that even though you may not get at first keep trying . My reflection told me how it is okay not to get something at first as long as you keep trying. Yes because this made me realize that it is okay to mess up on something as long as you keep trying to grow.
