Socialism shows that each citizen of the given country gets the same fighting chance to be successful in life. If success is not reached, you will not be homeless, but able to restart and stay in the same place as you were before. Many countries that take part in socialism like Venezuela, North Korea, Cuba, and Vietnam, realized that they were able to provide more for their citizens, and it helped their economy boost in the beginning. But because of Capitalism, it took a while for the “free market” economy to boost in their actions. Most countries that have a capitalist government have citizens, without healthcare, literacy, and high amounts of racism. Where in a socialist government, everyone is more viewed as equals. As it states in the chart, 
“It also makes individuals dependent on the state for everything from food to health care.” This statement shows that people need this type of government so that they can live and not go hungry, or die of sickness. If it wasn't for socialism, many people would be dead in those countries. This makes the citizens obey the laws, and not cause protests against “unfair” treatment because the government specializes in making sure all citizens have equal opportunities.

Some history:
Who invented Capitalism? Adam smith invented capitalism. The first “use” of this political party was in the 17th century. This was when merchants became more involved in the production of goods and paying wages. The merchants made profits from the ownership. They were controlling the means of production. That’s how it all started. Eventually, capitalism came to America in the middle nineteenth century. Capitalism changed the world by freer international trade between different countries, high rates of employment, and fertility rates. Capitalism also decreased poverty.
Pros: 
  • You are free to choose whatever products you desire.
  • Stops or prevents a bureaucratic government 
  • There is  a large amount of economic growth 
  • There is economic freedom
  • Provides limitless opportunities
  • Capitalism has led to a big increase in productivity. This tech has led to better paid jobs as well. For example, The laser. Heat lasers to clean off hospital clothing for patients. Lasers for laser hair removal. 
  • Help people in poverty.
What are some cons?:
  • It tends to lead to some inequality 
  • It can pay low wages
  • It can cause businesses to have low profit
