    -Wide and spacious with fully-air conditioned environment. It is simple to access with elevator and lever door.

    BCA Judging Criteria
    The flooring has colors and tapes lay out around the court to provide a sense of directions for everyone. The hall is easily accessible with elevator beside the hall. There is also a connective bridge connecting the food court to the sports complex making it convenient for people to walk over. There are also speaker that teacher use for audio assistance.

    Areas of improvement
    According to everyone and personal experience, the floor in in the competition hall can be quite slippery upon sweating. Non-Slip flooring should be implemented to prevent slipping.

    BCA Judging Criteria
    Although there is a lift connecting to the sports hall, it has only 1 lift. Since our sports hall would be hosting a sports disability event, we would need more than 1 lift so that there would not be any crowding at the lift area. 
    • No specific colors to give a sense of direction on the floors
    • It caters to multi purpose needs so the hall could be used for badminton and table tennis
    • There is a connective bridge connecting from the food court and lifts from the nearest block to the sports complex which will allow the users to have easier access to the sports hall
    • It is an open concept hall meaning it has no doors so it will be easier for users especially those who are wheel-chair bound to access into the hall
    Areas of improvement
    Should include tapes on the floor to give users a sense of directions so they would not be confused on which way to go
    Non-slip flooring would be good to prevent potential risks and injuries from occurring

     The flooring has no color and tapes to give directions for individuals. The swimming pool has a ramp towards the entrance to have easy access for wheelchair users. There is a connective bridge connecting the food court to the sports complex. However, the swimming pool users have to exit the pool and enter the lift of the sports complex to have access to the bridge. There is no audio assistance.

    Areas of Improvement
    The floor should have tapes to give direction, and the material of the floor should be slip resistant. This is because the water from the pool can easily make the floor slippery. Furthermore, there should also be a connector from the pool to the sports complex lift.     The floor should have different tapes to differentiate the layout whether if it is a rugby or football game.     - Located at the Sports Complex, it is a spacious area for students to practice martial arts. Tatami mats are available for every user of the Martial Arts Room. Located at level one, it would be easily accessible through the levered doors.

    BCA Judging Criteria
    - The floor of the room has different colors from green and red. This provides a sense of direction for the users. Since it is ground level, there will be easy accessibility for wheelchair users. There is a connective bridge leading to the food court across the Martial Arts Room. Users however, have to use the lift of the sports complex to access the bridge. There are also speakers to allow the instructor to voice out instructions with audio assistance. Floors are slip resistant as it absorbs sweat.Not to mention shock  absorbent as well so that if any user were to fall hard on the floor, most shock would be absorbed by the floor and not the user, thus minimizing injuries sustained.

    Areas of Improvement
    - Add mirrors in the room. This would allow those who are practicing to see themselves in action and learn from their mistakes.     -Located in a big open space in the center of the sports complex level 1. It has two segments, one outside the  multi-purpose with fans for ventilation. The other segment is located next to the multi-purpose hall in an air conditioned environment. Simple to access as it is on ground level and has sliding doors that uses motion sensors.

    BCA Judging Criteria
    - There are different floor materials and slightly elevated platforms for the different equipment and exercises that people do. This helps to indicate what exercises should be done in that area, for example the benches and dead lifting area have black grip tape floors that are different from the wooden floor.
    -There is a ramp and bridge leading to the sports complex from the main campus building. It is accessible to people on mobility devices.
    -As previously mentioned, there are certain exercises that require a shock absorbent floor that has a good grip. For example when deadlifting,  you are allowed to drop the weight on the floor as the weights used are rubber and so is the floor.
    - There are handrails on the platforms and stairs leading to the gym.
    -On the isolation machines, there are illustrations that demonstrate how the machine should be used, along with safety warnings and measures.
    -There are also stereo speakers in the ceiling to allow students to hear announcements.

    Areas of improvement
    - There should be more signs guiding students from the main campus on to the path to the gym.
