5.13 Using gradual release of responsibility is something we do in everything

Empowering the students to make their own decisions. Front loading so they can be independent.

Exhibition piece, unpacking the learning that is happening, not just a celebration of what we learned. What would you do differently next time is a good way to end. Taking that critical lens to the end.
4 and 5 are probably what we do in class a lot already, but 6, goal setting, is tougher to teach.

Exemplars of writing to encourage students. Allowing them to find where they are and what they can do to move forward.

Providing previous years' work so that students can see what other students have written in their grade.

6.4 using assessment checklists, WALT, TIC, rubrics,
