Good bye Lalamma aunty. You are in the lap of Jesus Christ,and we see our Lord almighty honour you for your meritorious service rented.

Once Pr Johnykutty was invited for sharing the Word of God to a small fellowship held at Vakathanam home where we reside. The Guest Speaker Pr Johnykutty C. K came alongwith his "BETTER HALF" as ONE KNIT TOGETHER "IN CHRIST AND FOR CHRIST"

Even though she was younger than me we called them "Auntee" and "Uncle" in respect and love.

The training received at LIC by Johnykutty Uncle (for catching people to Life Insurance Net ) was successfully used by the Holy Spirit to catch hold of the small group gathered at home in "His Net of Eternal Safety Insurance of His Kingdom" on that day!!!

This happened on one Sunday in June 2003

published recently on the 25th Anniversary of the Church "Abundant Life Fellowship Church)

Her memory was amazing! She remembered every one she meets, not only their name but the names of their spouse, Children and their grand children!

Once met at some place whether in Train /Bus/Car a telephone call with pet name is SURE to be heard on the next day. The ultimate aim of the call is to pray for them/to share the Love of God / to have a Bible study with them at their home or any place convenient to them!

Subsequently a Meeting & Baptism is sure!

A Church can be seen planted soon!!

Their Life (The Zest and Passion for evangelisation) is a Text Book for all of us

They never cared for their PERSONAL INCONVENIENCES in LIFE for Christ.

We have experienced them travelling in crowded trains, even in unreserved second class.After many meetings we drop them at Railway stations may be late night!!

No complaints/ murmurings or hardships shared later. Taken up happily, adapted to situations just like St. Paul Rejoicing always

Now we see her just like Elisha following Elijah who saw Elijah being taken up to heaven in whirlwind. As promised Elijah obtained double portion of the spirit from Elijah.With the mantle of Elijah that fell from him on his ascension, Elisha smote the waters of Jordan River. It was divided in to two.

What a wonder.! Elisha crossed the River Jordan. Here our Lalamma Auntee saw the departure of Johnykutty Uncle into heaven and n

w she also has crossed the River of Death (Jordan) and entered the Heavenly

Zion!!

Our Lord has called both of them on time

to the "Heavenly Zion "RESERVED FOR THEM in advance by The Lord as PROMISED.

THE CROWN OF RIGHTEOUSNESS WILL BE PLACED ON THEIR HEADS.

St. Paul saw it in advance and described

"Finally there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord the righteous Judge will give to me on that day, and NOT TO ME ONLY BUT ALSO TO ALL WHO HAVE LOVED HIS APPEARANCE"

Bon voyage to Lalamma Aunty.

My acquaintance with Lalamma(my Chettathi) is more in years than my Achachan, who married her in 1970, where as I know her and her family members through our Church at Punalur from 1963.  She was one year senior to me in school and college.  My parents had a special liking for her for various qualities that they found in her especially to her mother who was a strong believer sustained lot of torture from her own people for coming to this belief.

I, as a teenager had spent initial years at Bihar with them till  I got a job.  She was very much supportive in many matters relating to our  families.

She was instrumental in establising a Pentecostal worship in Sindri at Bihar, where many of the recent IPC pastors such as VM Abraham (Houston), Thomas Koshy( Florida) VJ Thomas( Mumbai), KM Varghese ( California) has been Pastoring from 1968-1992.  Achachan was working  in Executive Post in LIC had several promotions and transfers while in Service, though he was not a designated/ordained pastor in those days had been doing more than that as a Coordinator for the Mission works, whereever he was transferred. For this, the strong support he got from Chettathi was incomparable.

A very strong, laborious, team player, leader, good mother, good wife, good in law, very determined lady, we Cholakathu family was lucky to have her.

We all at Dallas, my wife Mercy and me, sons Prashant and Nishant, Daughter in laws: Merlin and Nidheesha and grand children Noah and Leia is deeply saddened by the great loss  to our families and say Good bye to her with the hope to meet her again in eternity🙏

Whenever we were in India, we'd try to drive by Tripunithara or Coimbatore just to spend some time with them. They made it a point to come home and spend time with us whenever they visited Dubai, as well.

They've been such a blessing to an incredible number of people, we all know that.

This fatherly and motherly love that they showed was so obvious and we've truly cherished the times that we have had with them.

One thing I remember about aunty was how she would be in prayer every time that Uncle would be talking to one of us. We've always marvelled at that, right from our 'youth' days, and were blessed because of it.

Our deepest condolences to Bobbychayan and Binuchayan’s families.

May His Peace comfort you all at this time.
