When I first joined the Google Play project and moved into the teams, you were the one of the first Team Leads to whip me into shape. I'm not going to lie, I thought you had a ruler hidden under your desk, but that early, strict training you put me through is honestly the only reason I mastered reporting and got to tackle the opportunities you threw my way. Thanks for the structure (and the occasional moment of fear!). I think your strict but composed character helped me gain insights into what i can do better, as a person.

It was awesome to see our dynamic evolve from direct report/drill sergeant to genuinely good working colleagues. I'll miss our candid discussions and professional sanity checks.

Go make some magic in your next chapter, and I hope they appreciate your high standards as much as we did.
