I am anxious it won't be a perfect score. I have all the articles, which is good, because it helps with working on each body paragraph. Although, writing papers aren't my specialty, because it's difficult for me to review articles. I'm better at presenting or public speaking, but I need to grow confidence in my writing skills to write papers. This paper is coming along slowly, but surely. Although usually writing paper stresses me out, I actually feel pretty good about my paper right now because there is plenty of good information out there about my topic and I have even been learning a lot about this topic ever since I started this research paper. Although there are other things making me a little more stressed right now, I feel pretty good about this paper. My only struggle right now is losing some sleep due to me having to do my homework at night since I work during the day, and then having to wake up early for work again the next day.

So far I am feeling confident in my research paper, At first, I did struggle to find articles that supported each domain, however, after doing so the rest of the process was pretty much doable. Even though, I am almost done with my paper, I still have to revise and run through it one more time. On top of that, I also have a couple of different assignments from my other classes. My research paper was on The Effects of prenatal exposure to drugs or alcohol, I am feeling so-so, I feel confident in doing research and find articles that are reliable and I really enjoy learning and reading all the different information, however I think I struggle more with interpreting that information in the research in a format that isn’t just so analytical. I have enjoyed this course and really did learning and doing the different research on all the different domains that are associated with the effects of prenatal exposure to drugs or alcohol. The paper was a bit intimidating because of the length and depth of research we had to do, I work full time and have custody of my youngest brother so time management has been essential. I’m excited to finish off this semester and take some time to mentally relax.

My research topic is early signs of ASD in infants and toddlers. I feel confident about the final draft of my research paper, especially since we had small deadlines due before the final paper was due. This made it easier for me to complete the paper and get feedback on it as well. I had a little trouble connecting the domains and research articles just because there were so many sources that were used in this paper so it took me time to go through them again and decide which ones I wanted to connect and how I was going to connect them.
