This is because I feel it fits perfectly with the brief theme "Art in the Environment". What better way to show this than to combine the two most powerful beings/things in the universe. Over the course of this project I aim to create a body of work exploring the many connections between humans and nature.

Aims:
- Create a body of work using various media's.
- Explore new techniques.
- Research about related artists, projects others have done
   with a similar theme and scientific reasoning's behind why
   humans need nature so much.
Objectives:
 - Create works using various media's.
 - Create an installation piece using nature and humans.
 - Have a solid research background for this project.

- Intergrates the place and the condition of
   humans in nature in a trans-generational,
   universal and a temporal fashion.
- Relies on molding and gluing techniques.
- Assembles and diverts the elements to
    compose works that offer multiple
    readings, both in form and meaning.
Connection:
   Chantier's work connects to my own
   because his overall inspiration is similar.
   Although I don't take interest in making
   sculptures, I think his overall idea's are
   interesting, he uses industrial objects and
   even natural forms such as wood and
   ground.

Nunzio Paci
 - Lives and works in Italy.
 - His work showcases the relationship between man and
    nature. Specifically animals and plants.
 - Paints and draws.
 Connection:
Paci's work is very influential to me for this project. His art is similar to the idea's I had when I started putting this project together. He explores the same connections I've been looking into and even in similar media. He "explores the infinite possibilities of life" (Statment, Nunzio Paci / undefined 11, 2019). This direct quote from Paci's statement is exactly what i'm doing for this project and showing the connections between nature and humans. Connecting them in every way.

I came across this one called In Her Studio, it explores many female artists in their studios(hence the title) and has a few pages each of artist interviews. A lady called Liz Cooksey stood out to me for her wire creations inspired by nature. Notes:
For this I wanted to include a skeleton, but I couldn’t get my hands on a model in time. What I would like to do in the future is buy a model and incorporate it into my installation. This would show humans and nature together, I would combine the vines into the skeleton and make it look “overgrown” as nature takes over us. 

Using pre bought artificial flowers, I freehanded the positioning of this piece and used masking tape to keep it attached to the wall. Other items I used were real sticks from my garden. 

I did this because I wanted to show a “growing” time period of how life progresses. Similar to which a human does. This is incredibly hard for me as I’m such a perfectionist when it comes to my art. 
To tackle this I have just let myself take the photo and upload them here and just forget about them. 
Over time it has helped me not be so hard on my work even if to me it isn’t “perfect”. 

I have drawn some studies of different aspects of what I want to include in an final image, or installation.
