In the “last man” scenario, would you nuke it or no? Why?
-Yes, I would nuke the planet to first end my misery and to produce new life. By the radioactivity I hope that life restarts on earth. I feel like it would be the best decision rather than losing my mind to insanity, starvation, and dehydration. I could survive by myself but my point to be living would be futile.
Most people say don’t nuke it. What could be their reasons?
-They may believe that there is other life on the planet so they don't want to kill off the entire human species. Also, they could be thinking about the animals across the world who don't necessarily fall into the human category.
Some people say it’s okay to nuke it. What could be their reasons?
-I am on of these people but the reasons could be that they don't wanna be lonely anymore. Another point that could be made is that the earth needs to hit the reset button. Furthermore, there could be other underlying variables that maybe no one has thought of quite yet that may sway their decision to wipeout the earth.

Where do you fit on this scale?
- I think on this scale I would fall into the category of people who have obligations to further generations.
Do you think there are places where humans should never live? (They visit but do not remain)
-Yes, I have that some places should be held sacred and the beauty should be allowed to stay in its natural state.
Look up the charter for the US National Park system. What Value(s) does it demonstrate?

- The values demonstrated by the US National Park System shows that they believe that it should be preserved. Their focus is on keeping the historical significance of the national geographic parks.

Where do you think “humans fit”? Why?
- I think humans should fit in a place of dependence on the planet. I believe that nature rules all and nature is above us.
Even if you do not consider yourself religious, do you think the Judeo-Christian view is correct?
- Yes, I believe that for the most part most human beings have those base beliefs.
If we are just “one species among many,” does that mean we should change our relationship with the environment?
-I think we should change our relationship to a need-based system opposed to how it is set up. I think that we should take what we need and leave it at that.

Do you plan on having children?
- No doubt in my mind I will bring a child into this world.
Do we have obligations other people’s children?
-I feel that as a parent or elder you have an obligation to people's children. I think there is a limit to how much obligations have. I believe in terms of safety obligations are mandatory but not when it comes to beliefs.
Do people have a right to experience nature?
- I think people have the right to experience nature but not the right to modify it. As long as they can look and see with their eyes I think that is enough.
Are there limits to these obligations and rights?
-Yes, I feel it is the owners responsibility to and obligation to take care of what's theres. Others should have basic rights, such as helping in a time of need but not a daily commitment.

What are the most dangerous technologies? Why?
- Nicotine, alcohol are dangerous because they eventually harm or kill the user.
Would these technologies also impact non-human nature?
-Yes, they would impact non-human nature. For example, the cigarettes that are smoked leave dirty toxins in the air.
Look up some of the different versions of the precautionary principle and discuss the differences.

- The difference between the definitions I found were how they related to different aspects of society. Although, they have different approaches they are all ultimately trying to emphasize the importance of being careful when engineering.

What sorts of issues can a cost-benefit analysis be used to address?
- The issues of the protest, homework, etc can be utilized by the cost-benefit analysis because by offering a system based on incentive.
What other issues of “fairness” seem embedded in environmental question?
- Who's responsible? How are people going to be compensated?
How are ideas about anthropocentric and non-anthropocentric value in play here?

- This shows that sometimes humans aren't the central part of the universe. It shows that nature ultimately is the one who determines who does what.

Revisit your answers about obligations to future generations. In light of population trends, does your thinking about having children change? Why?

- My answer has not changed. I believe that we should deal with the problems at hand rather than start planning for the future. By fixing the current problems the problems for the next generation will be there own to end. As the fate of challenges we have had to deal was thrust upon us, they should have to deal with theirs as well.
