         <description><![CDATA[<div>-wants to marry <strong>Hermia</strong> for her beauty<br>-was engaged to <strong>Helena</strong><br>-gets angry with <strong>Helena</strong> for leading her into the woods, and tells her he doesn't love her anymore (but there is still obvious tension between them)<br>-he kind of went through a quick change of love to hate; he loves Helena but then he suddenly loves Hermia and hates Helena (he juggling love and hate)<br>-he is under the spell of a love potion and he falls back in love with Helena; the thing is he's never releived of the spell<br>-the way he describes his love for Helena is somewhat profound<br>Was I betroth'd ere I saw Hermia:<br><em>"But, like in sickness, did I loathe this food;<br>But, as in health, come to my natural taste,<br>Now I do wish it, love it, long for it,<br>And will for evermore be true to it."</em></div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-loves <strong>Demetrius</strong><br>-was engaged to <strong>Demetrius</strong> prior to the <strong>Demetrius</strong>/<strong>Hermia</strong> forced relationship; she still loves <strong>Demetrius</strong><br>-she leads <strong>Demetrius</strong> in the woods, in hopes of winning him back, but it backfires<br>-when both <strong>Demetrius</strong> and <strong>Lysander</strong> fall in love with her, she feels very disrespected because she thinks they're mocking her<br>-she has been used to being alone and unwanted, so when she suspects that <strong>Hermia</strong> is in on the mockery, she's heartbroken. <strong>Hermia</strong> is supposed to be her bestfriend but with all the love potions, she feels absolutely betrayed<br>-her quotes about love really outline the different perceptions people seem to have on love; she explains how people will see what they want to see for the sake of love<br><em>"Love can transpose to form and dignity:<br>Love looks not with the eyes, but with the mind;"</em><br>-she has a very detestable view on love that highlights how different people will interpret love different from others</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>-the Fairy Queen to King <strong>Oberon</strong><br>-she confidently lets <strong>Oberon</strong> know her objections and storms off into the woods, away from <strong>Oberon<br></strong>-oppose to <strong>Hippolyta</strong> (they're played by the same actress), she's very confident, powerful and  stubborn with what she wants and makes sure <strong>Oberon</strong> knows it <br>-she falls in love with <strong>Nick Bottom</strong>, as an ass, because she was under the love potion; their relationship symbolizes how love can be confusing at times, but it only makes sense to the ones in love<br>-when she is released from the love potion, she falls back in love with <strong>Oberon</strong><br>-her relationship with Oberon is kind of toxic, but at the end of the day they seem to really like each other, despite their differences; I wonder what that kind of relationship would look like today.</div>]]></description>
