Kronos wouldn’t have eaten his children, and all of the children including Zeus would have lived. Perhaps, there would have been more than one ruler/king of the Greek Gods in that case besides just Zeus.

Fate is prevalent in Greek myth. Kronos would have had a child he didn’t know about (affair/rape/while drunk) who would have ended up defeating him.

Honestly, he probably would have had less of a chance of being defeated, since he wouldn't have eaten his children and made Rhea hate him. He could have chosen to be a better father than Ouranos, but it's easier to eat your kids I guess.

I think that the Gods would have eventually still rebelled against Kronos and fulfilled the prophecy anyway.

I think something still would have happened since the fate is inescapable: maybe Zeus would have slipped away somehow or used some sort of baby Zeus magic to escape

There is the possibility that a child who can survive the inner conditions of Kronos' stomach could find a way to use Kronos' body against him. The child, from inside Kronos' body, could prevent Kronos from being able to digest food, which would make Kronos grow weaker and weaker until the child rips Kronos open from the inside.

If Kronos could be killed, then yes I believe Zeus would have killed him instead of just severing or castrating him. However, the immortality and deistic properties give this a (more) mythological aspect, especially bc the castration aspect directly relates to multiplying, childbirth, and fruitfulness, a common theme in creation myths.

Eventually fate would catch up to Kronos- the prophecy would make it inevitable

I believe that if Kronos didn’t believe ouranus that Kronos would have kept all his children without a care in the world and probably would have been defeated sooner or could have been a war for the throne of ruler or the gods and life
