The kids love it and so do I. There are a lot of premade quizzes/games that are appropriate for my students, and it is easy to modify them to better fit my student's needs. I have also created several on my own. They give instant feedback on how well your students as a whole understand a question and/or concept. Highly recommend.

This app is a great way for students to share their learning. I like to have students work in groups of 2 or 3 and research some kind of dangerous weather - like tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. They find out what the storm is like, safety and famous examples. Together they create a video that shares all these facts. They make models, add special effects, and bring in props. they really get into the learning experience. They do all the filming, acting and editing. There is also a "trailer" feature in I-movie that is great for less detailed projects.

Socrative
I like that it gets younger students used to the set up of assessments. As much as we don’t like giving them it is a skill that students need to get used to but they also need to be taught how to navigate them.
