I like to have students work in groups of 2 or 3 and research some kind of dangerous weather - like tornadoes, hurricanes, etc. They find out what the storm is like, safety and famous examples. Together they create a video that shares all these facts. They make models, add special effects, and bring in props. they really get into the learning experience. They do all the filming, acting and editing.
