         <description><![CDATA[<div>-New Read-Discuss-Read Model<br>-New Blended Learning PD<br>-One issue I ran into last year was a student scoring really high on the set test, and when she started her lessons, she became frustrated and shut down. I called and had them change her level.<br>-Students had a very difficult time with fact &amp; opinion, so I had to do several mini-lessons on it &amp; then as an extension, they played the fact &amp; opinion games.<br>-It's imperative to let students know that their goal is to get to 75% and NOT how many points they earned. Which a was a huge problem for me at the beginning.<br><strong>-Q- Is it mandatory for 2nd graders to do the writing component?<br></strong>- Love the contest as well!<br><br><br></div>]]></description>
