“You know what it is: it's like the Sirens. […] You know. They sit on the rocks and they sing to the sailors. And what they sing is so lovely it's like … they're hypnotised. They know if they sail to them their ship's going to get all smashed up. But they think it's worth it, you know – for the song.” -Lisa

This unconventionally structured play begins with a woman, Lisa, visited about repair to her watch that runs an hour behind. She learns that she has lost an hour of time that exists elsewhere and can only be reclaimed in a fantasia world called Dissocia. We learn Lisa is suffering from a mental illness and--through two starkly contrasting acts--explore why she finds it difficult to take her medication. The play confronts qualitative human questions including the struggles between sensation and numbness, creativity and normalness, childhood and adulthood, and chaos and order.
