George Washington never picked a political party and never joined the Federalist Party. George Washington was born in 1732, and he was obsessed with military arts and Western Expansion. In 1759, when the American Revolution broke out, he handled his own land around Mount Vernon. In 1754, George Washington was shot four times and it destroyed his coat and survived the injury (Whitehouse.gov). While George Washington was in office, Klein cites he was fighting for freedom in the United States (History.com). George Washington retired at the end of his four years of presidency and died three years later from a throat infection on December 14, 1799 (Whitehouse.gov).
