         <description><![CDATA[<div>We started off our first CSI as a class and we used a character from our whole -class novel. We read two pages from 'The One and Only Ivan' which described Bob the dog. Students then used the same routine with their parents during our Student-Led Conferences. An 'aha' moment of the course was the three elements of thinking: ability, inclination and sensitivity. I would like parents to understand thinking routines  and use them in a home setting too. Students will then have the sensitivity to use thinking routines all the time. Once students felt confident using this routine they used it as an activity in Guided Reading. We've been using<em> </em>CSI<em> </em> as a reflection tool too.</div>]]></description>

         <description><![CDATA[<div>CSI has given me a ‘yellow’ feeling, I have been surprised by students’ unique and different perspectives. The rainbow umbrella symbolises how thinking routines have been able to help learners share their colourful ideas where they might not have been able to in the past. The image I chose is the duck or the rabbit? This illustrates how different perspectives are not wrong or right, we all see and think differently.   </div>]]></description>
