Anderson Cooper and his guest discuss the feud of the Senator and the President. The clip was majorly in favor of McCain. The analyst show an interview of Trump explaining his bone spurs to disprove him and spend their time explaining how Trump indeed is a draft dodger. I think CNN and its Anderson Cooper program do have their biases but are still trustworthy sources that correctly tell the story.

Progressive radio and TV show host gives his take. This digital media show is in favor of McCain's shots at Donald Trump and seemed to be anti-Trump. Pakman called McCain's comments "perfectly true" and calls-out Republicans for being hypocrites. Pakman finishes out veterans that support Donald Trump. Although it does present itself professionally, I feel that the David Pakman show is too opinionated and doesn't seem to be a popular enough news source to be credible.

McCain on The View

John McCain explains his remarks in his original C-SPAN interview. This is a television source as McCain shows up on The View and jokes with the hosts about his remarks pertaining to the President. We see a joking and laughing John McCain that is in contrast to his more serious C-SPAN interview. One thing this appearance does confirm is that he was indeed talking about Mr. Trump and wasn't afraid to say so. The parts with McCain speaking on the subject is reliable but the program as a whole is nowhere near a trustworthy political source.

CNN's Chris Cillizza explains the on-going rivalry between Donald Trump and John McCain. The article is clearly in the opposition to Trump, and you can tell just by the headline. One positive of the article is that it gives McCain related Trump tweets which gives first-hand source information. Correctly tells the story and gives background. I think CNN does have its biases but is still a trustworthy source that correctly tells the story.

Tara Golshan writes in-depth article over McCain and Trump war of words. The article was good in explaining the history of the two men and where this argument stems from. It seems to be mostly impartial, but at the end seemed to explain that this is not a first-time thing for Trump and that his constant rude statements mixed with his failing bills causes frustration. The article seemed extensive in its' explanation of the feud and told the story accurately.
https://www.vox.com/policy-and-politics/2017/10/24/16522948/mccain-trump-feud-explained

The article seemed to be mostly neutral but did show signs of agreeing with McCain as it didn't really show quotes from Trump. I think the article did a good job at being as unbiased as possible. I feel as if this source was a very trustworthy and reliable source that seemed mostly unbiased.

The mostly conservative source had a surprisingly short article that didn't address McCain's comments being directed towards Trump but discusses it in the article. The fact that it doesn't say Donald Trump in the deadline seems surprising. I do believe Fox News is a reliable and professional source but on this subject, seemed to be lacking in content.

The leftist author makes their opinion know in the headline of his article. The article is extremely liberal and shows that from the beginning. The author does do a good job of explaining the feud and McCain's comments in just words. I do believe it is too one-sided and unprofessional so I think it is unreliable.
http://www.theprogressiveprofessor.com/?p=31893

My Reflection

To start, I picked this topic because, while it wasn't dark and grim, told an interesting and relevant story about one of the President's many feuds, this one being a Republican who served in the war. This sparked my interest with the recent boost for Trump appealing to soldiers and veterans but, at the same time, disregarding someone who has served. I thought it would be nice to do something that is interesting and not completely depressing.

I would say that the fact of most sources being democratic shows as most of the article sided with McCain in the feud and opposed Trump. I also believe that most of the people my age oppose the President and therefore side with McCain. People I have spoken to think that McCain was instigated by Trump's comments and was reasonable that McCain made the comments he did. I have to say I agree with this. I believe even more, after learning the history of the two, that Donald Trump is unprofessional and outrageous in his statements. I believe that he is hypocritical in calling for support of the troops during the NFL protest but disrespects a prisoner of war. I feel that because of the comments that Trump previously made to McCain, it makes complete sense for the Senator to makes comments towards Trump.
