In my case, I'd say it was good enough so that students were able to make use of the grammar point.

I like how Joel tried to create a nice activity in the end, although it saddens me to say that all but one student actually managed to engage in the activity writing up proper PP sentences. The main point of there being Past Perfect sentences (focus on sequence) wasn't dealt with properly, I'd say.

In my case I believe that I was thorough with MFP and CCQs to make sure that every one understood the purpose and structure of the target language.
My biggest concern is with my TTT and that particular stage, myebe being too thorough made it a little boring

In Johnny's case I believe that he was thorough as well, he did and excellent job giving real life examples of target language. My only gripe is that perhaps his first examples were a little too difficult.

Once again, my language focus was a tad too long.

As for TTT in the other activities, I'd say it was faulty in the CP phase, as I was running out of time. But good CCQ was used in a number of instances, together with the drilling.

However, I only interrupted the final task so that 2 students could be properly primed into using Passive Voice structures.

Students were elicited and drilled all over the class and provided me with good language.

As for Joel's lesson, the final task was again a crucial point when it comes to the main issues of his teaching practice. Pretty much he had no means of eliciting properly, as students hadn't grasped the meaning of the structure.

I am to create more effective slides -- if not scrap them altogether in favour of another activity.

I am to give a SERIOUS look into my time-management skills.

I've managed to improve my feedback for the final task, but not the CP one.

As for Joel, I'd say that focusing on getting the meaning correctly stated in the lesson plan is a must.

However, I really enjoyed the concept of his final task, and also how he dealt with the student's issues very patiently. It's surely something he has gotten better at.

In my case I believe that I tried to elicit as often as possible, making sure that part of the explanation (if not all of it when it came to remembering what we have seen so far) is described by a student and not me.

In Johnny's case I believe that he elicited enough but it did feel like he had above average TTT, and that laerners had few instances to explain the structure themselves.
