Scars unexpected behavior was that  he was a brother. A brother and a brother should be friends. I know that sometimes I may get jealous of someone. Violence is not the answer. Espescially when it is a brother. And espescially when it means taking a life. A fathers life, and a sons life. Knowing Scar none of this was unexpected. He is jealous intimidated. 

2. If Scar was born a older brother, maybe his traits would have changed. He would be the next in line to the king, perhaps him and Mufasa would change roles; knowing Mufasa though he would never want to take a life if it wasn't hunting for food. Scar acted this way because he wants to be king so badly. So because Mufasa was the current king and Simba was next in line for king, Scar Killed Mufasa, Then told Simba to flee the Pride Lands and that it was Simba's fault that Mufasa died. I was surprised because in most movies and books brothers are nice to each other, and Scar had been very nice to mufasa. So when he let go of Mufasa I was shocked.
2. I think Scar acted this way because is jealousy got the better of him and he wanted to be the king so badly that he killed his own brother! Killing Mufasa and potentially Simba wasn't a super hard thing to do. What this says about Scar is that he is very jealous. He is jealous of Mufasa because he's the king, and not Scar. He's jealous of Simba because of his position, because if Mufasa dies, then Simba will become king, not Scar.
